Getting your Foundations Right
Use this form if you are signing up to our Animation for Beginner or Intermediate classes.
Animation is one of the fasting growing sectors in New Zealand. It is however a skill that takes years to develop. With so many amazing and creative children out there this class sets them up with a solid foundation on which to explore creative tech.
Setting good values and foundations helps our children develop the soft skills they need to excel in this space, we also help illuminate career pathways into digital and creative tech throughout our programme.
This class is held onsite, online options may be available depending on interest. The following form is to register your interest. We will be in touch via email to confirm your child’s place.
These classes will help students understand how to use a drawing tablet, how to navigate professional software and understand how begin taking simple objects and animating them. Intermediate classes will draw on previous experiences.
ANIMATION – limit 12 per class Classes start Tues 26 Oct (Beginner) and Weds 27 Oct and take place weekly for 9 weeks

COST: Free, thanks to generous funding from our sponsors.
Terms and Conditions:
- Session costs are non refundable.
- Sessions can be transferred to other students but DNA must be notified via email.
- If sessions do not take place (due to DNA staffing issues) and you have paid, you will have the option to get a refund for that session.
- We will also provide online surveys (for all participants) to help us determine what impact we are having in terms of inspiring and encouraging our young people to explore creative and digital tech.
