Complaints Form
Trying to get things right
Use this form if you don’t want to take an informal approach and would rather go direct to a formal approach.
Digital Natives Academy believes in open communication and kōrero and we hope if issues emerge that staff and participants can work their way through any challenges. If you have any concerns with your learning experience, we encourage you to talk to your student rep, your tutor or any of DNA’s staff. You are welcome to nominate a support person who can speak on your behalf.
We are happy to begin with an informal approach. If this doesn’t provide you with the outcomes you were looking for you are welcome to use the more formal process.
To do this please fill out our complaints form. Once you submit your form, you will receive written confirmation via email. Once received, DNA has 20 days to resolve your complaint. As part of the process, the issues raised will be investigated further to ascertain the issues at hand.
Part of this process may involve a face to face hui, if this happens you are welcome to bring whānau and any support people. If you are still unsatisfied with the outcome, you have the right to appeal the outcome, you have 20 working days to submit from the date you were notified of the outcome.
When to use this form:
- Don’t use this form if you want to first talk with us informally.
- Use this form if you feel you want to take a formal approach, this will start the complaints process rolling.
