Submissions now being accepted for the 22nd Bucheon International Animation Festival taking place in Bucheon, South Korea October 23 -27.
The Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF 2020), an Academy Award-qualifying festival, is now open for film submissions. The festival, being held October 23-27 in Bucheon, South Korea, accepts animated films in the following categories: Competition Feature, Short, Graduation, TV & Commissioned and VR Works.
Over KRW 46,000,000 (Approx. USD 42,000) in cash prizes will be awarded in six categories: Feature, Short, Graduation, TV & Commissioned, Korean Short and Online.
Submission deadlines:
- June 30 – Short, Graduation, TV & Commissioned
- July 31 – Feature, VR Works
Production Year: Produced after January 1, 2019 (Must not have been submitted to previous BIAFs)
Over KRW 48,000,000 (Approx. $42,000) USD in cash prizes will be awarded in 6 categories.
